  4. MICROSOFT SOFTWARE LICENSE

  7. 1.     GRANT OF LICENSE.  Microsoft grants to you the 
  8. right to use and to reproduce and distribute all or a 
  9. portion of the Windows Driver, Schedule + and 
  10. Microsoft Mail Help File Library  ("Software") 
  11. provided that (i) the Software is not distributed for 
  12. profit; (ii) the Software is used only in conjunction 
  13. with licensed copies of  Microsoft Windows 3.xx 
  14. products, including Windows for Workgroups; (iii) the 
  15. Software may not be modified; (iv) all copyright 
  16. notices are maintained on the Software; and (v) the 
  17. licensee/end user agrees to be bound by the terms of 
  18. this Agreement.

  20. 2.    COPYRIGHT.  The Software is owned by Microsoft 
  21. or its suppliers and is protected by United States 
  22. copyright laws and international treaty provisions. 
  23. You may not remove the copyright notice from any copy 
  24. of the Software or any copy of the written materials, 
  25. if any, accompanying the Software.

  27. 3.    OTHER RESTRICTIONS.  This Microsoft License 
  28. Agreement is your proof of license to exercise the 
  29. rights granted herein and must be retained by you.  
  30. You may not rent or lease the Software.  You may not 
  31. reverse engineer, decompile or disassemble the 
  32. Software.
  33.  
  34.     NO WARRANTY.  ANY USE BY YOU OF THE SOFTWARE IS 
  35. AT YOUR OWN RISK.  THE SOFTWARE IS PROVIDED FOR USE 
  36. ONLY WITH MICROSOFT WINDOWS 3.XX PRODUCTS AND RELATED 
  37. APPLICATION SOFTWARE.  THE SOFTWARE IS PROVIDED FOR 
  38. USE "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND.  TO THE 
  39. MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, MICROSOFT AND ITS 
  40. SUPPLIERS DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER 
  41. EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING, WITHOUT LIMITATION, 
  42. IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY AND FITNESS FOR 
  43. A PARTICULAR PURPOSE. MICROSOFT IS NOT OBLIGATED TO 
  44. PROVIDE ANY UPDATES TO THE SOFTWARE.

  46.     NO LIABILITY FOR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES.  In no 
  47. event shall Microsoft or its suppliers be liable for 
  48. any damages whatsoever (including, without limitation, 
  49. incidental, direct, indirect special and consequential 
  50. damages, damages for loss of business profits, 
  51. business interruption, loss of business information, 
  52. or other pecuniary loss) arising out of the use or 
  53. inability to use this Microsoft product, even if 
  54. Microsoft has been advised of the possibility of such 
  55. damages.  Because some states/countries do not allow 
  56. the exclusion or limitation of liability for 
  57. consequential or incidental damages, the above 
  58. limitation may not apply to you.
  59.  
  60.     INDEMNIFICATION BY YOU.  If you distribute the 
  61. Software in violation of this Agreement, you agree to 
  62. indemnify, hold harmless and defend Microsoft and its 
  63. suppliers from and against any claims or lawsuits, 
  64. including attorney's fees that arise or result from 
  65. the use or distribution of the Software in violation 
  66. of this Agreement.

  68. U.S. GOVERNMENT RESTRICTED RIGHTS
  69.  
  70. The Software and documentation are provided with 
  71. RESTRICTED RIGHTS.  Use, duplication, or disclosure by 
  72. the Government is subject to restrictions as set forth 
  73. in subparagraph (c)(1)(ii) of The Rights in Technical 
  74. Data and Computer Software clause at DFARS 252.227-
  75. 7013 or subparagraphs (c)(1) and (2) of the Commercial 
  76. Computer Software - Restricted Rights at 48 CFR 
  77. 52.227-19, as applicable.  Manufacturer is Microsoft 
  78. Corporation/One Microsoft Way/Redmond, WA  98052-6399.

  80. If you acquired this product in the United States, 
  81. this Agreement is governed by the laws of the State of 
  82. Washington.
